April 21. and 22. 2012: Collaboration zillalelalelazilla tailor-made collection
Lela Sherrer and Zilla Leutenegger are old friends. When they meet again years after, the two decide to enter a collaboration. Both realize: the worlds that they inhibit, fashion and art, are not that far apart – also they know that little border transgressions are always good things.
The work of Lela Scherrer and the work of Zilla Leutenegger both share one central concept: the projection of new identities of the self. Who am I – and: who else would I like to be, too?
The artist immersed into the cosmos of fashion, and the fashion designer into the artist’s world. Like this, they collectively sketched a common world for „Zillalelalelazilla - a Tailor-Made Collection“, a world which in turn can be a entirely new world to somebody else.
