Ana D. Lombard - Mi Veracruz
Young photographer Ana Dominguez Lombard retraces the atmosphere of her hometown Veracruz (Mexico) through the lenses of her camera: she captures the ancient roots of this important port with a strong Spanish heritage, a home to many migrants. She narrates the story of people, customs, places and lives from the first half of the 20th century that are all revived today, with a scent of splendid nostalgia.
A beautiful work on reminiscence and the magic of encounters.
She dedicates this series of photographs to all the “Jarochos” who gave of their time and worked with her.
The Ambassador of Mexico in Switzerland, Mr. Jorge Castro-Valle Kühne, is also present at the opening, see his opening speech here!
