Flux Box occupies Sturm Square

Flux Box occupies Sturm Square

From October 2 to 30 2015
Sturm Square

The Fluxum Foundation and Flux Laboratory support the work of the adc (association pour la danse contemporaine Genève), which since its creation in 1986, is a key actor for the promotion of contemporary dance in Geneva’s cultural landscape, and has been rewarded by the Federal Culture Office with the 2015 special prize for dance.

Flux Laboratory installs the Flux Box, from 2 to 30 October, on the Sturm square, as an encouragement to the adc, since this site will house the future Pavillon de la Danse.

This month presence will allow the public and neighbours to immerse themselves in dance, through the video archives or performances:

Adc proposes a dynamisation of the Sturm square:
The square is still empty, the Pavillon de la danse is not there yet...but potentially, it still exists!
Performance by József Trefeli and Gabor Varga where the future stage will be standing,
followed by a spiritual ceremony orchestrated by Natacha DiviNa (spiritual coach) and Nicolas Brugger (geobiologist).

Launched in 2014, the Flux Box contains the video archives of  the Fluxum Foundation and Flux Laboratory, and offers the viewer an immersive space to get inspired by it.
Itinerant, the Flux Box has been presented in Singapore, Milan and in various venues in Zurich.
