Through the exhibition POVERTY PARADISE, the photographer Gustavo Ten Hoever questions the issues of nature and refuge. Born in Uruguay, working in Paris and in New York, Ten Hoever exhibits an ensemble of pictures shot during his numerous travels. These images illustrate unusual homes and unexpected landscapes, they lead the one contemplating them on new paths and offer mysterious views or familiar territories. POVERTY PARADISE invites you to a delicate photographic journey and suggests unsuspected freedom.
My cameras are keys opening doors. Behind these doors I see countless views and marvels. The dying... the timeless. Quiet, I step in and shoot...
Gustavo Ten Hoever
