Film & Talk
Thursday 17.10.2019 at 7pm
Alongside her residency at Flux Laboratory Athens, the artist Polena Kolia takes us on a journey through her work, her creative process and her encounters. Together with Sofia Falierou, Artistic Director of Dance Days Chania, the International Contemporary Dance Festival they will present her last piece titled «Let me tell you my steps», which participated in the Festival, as part of the program “New creators in the city”. A very special artistic approach, since she combines choreography with the participation of volunteers over 60 years old, memory experience and body remembrance. The audience is invited to seat around a table for an evening in order to share a wise and sweet conversation discovering Polena Kolia’s symbolic and poetic work.
